In just 16 more days, Rick and I will celebrate our one-year anniversary—and what a year it has been. When I look back, it’s amazing to see all we’ve walked through, built, and learned together in such a short time. One year may not seem long, but when you fill it with love, change, and growth—it becomes a lifetime of memories.
This year, we poured our hearts into St. Frances, turning a dream into something real and sacred. We’ve spent weekends sanding, painting, and rebuilding—side by side, covered in dust but smiling through it. We’ve watched that old chapel slowly come back to life as we work toward creating a wedding venue that honors its history and carries our shared vision of love, legacy, and life. What started as an idea has become a symbol of what we are together—resilient, creative, and deeply rooted in faith and purpose.
We’ve weathered transitions too—new jobs, new routines, and new dreams taking shape. There were long workdays, late-night planning sessions, and moments we had to remind ourselves to pause, breathe, and enjoy the little things. Through it all, we’ve kept our hearts focused on what matters most: each other and the future we’re creating.
We’ve laughed more than we’ve cried, learned when to give each other space, and how to come back stronger after every challenge. We’ve grown closer as a couple, but also as individuals—supporting one another’s goals and cheering each other on through every step.
There have been family milestones, new beginnings, road trips, quiet nights at home, and countless reminders that love is built in the ordinary moments. Every sunset at St. Frances, every shared meal after a long day, every project we tackled together—it all became part of our story.
As we count down these next 16 days, I’m not just celebrating a date—I’m celebrating us. The life we’ve built, the lessons we’ve learned, and the faith that continues to guide us forward. Rick, thank you for being my partner, my balance, my laughter, and my home.
Here’s to our first year of marriage—and to all the years ahead filled with love, legacy, and life. ❤️
