When Rick and I dreamed of opening St. Frances as a wedding venue, we knew it had to be about more than celebrations—it had to stand for something bigger. For us, that “something” is life itself. Every couple that chooses St. Frances becomes part of a story that not only honors love and legacy, but also gives back to protect and support life.
St. Frances carries deep personal meaning for me because of my father. His love, faith, and encouragement are the reasons this chapel became more than an old building—it became a place for new beginnings. To honor him, we made a promise: 10% of all proceeds from weddings and events at St. Frances go directly to hospice care, a cause that held our hearts during my father’s final days. Hospice gave him dignity, peace, and comfort at the end of his journey. By donating back, we ensure that other families receive that same gift.
In this way, every “I do” at St. Frances is tied to something even greater. Each wedding helps sustain life-giving care for others. Couples don’t just create their own legacy here—they extend a hand of kindness to strangers they may never meet.
That’s what makes St. Frances different. It isn’t only about the beauty of the grounds, the history of the chapel, or the joy of the celebrations (though all of those matter). It’s about a mission: to protect life, to honor legacy, and to give back with love.
For us, there’s no better way to celebrate love than by making sure that every vow spoken at St. Frances continues to touch lives long after the wedding day is over.
